Search used to mean ten blue links. In 2026, a lot of commercial questions never get that far.
Google shows an AI Overview. Someone asks ChatGPT for a CA firm website developer in Delhi. Perplexity cites three pages and skips yours. You still “rank.” You just were not the answer.
SEO, AEO, GEO - without the jargon pile - SEO: can Google crawl a fast page that matches the query. - AEO: can an answer engine lift a clear question-and-answer from your site. - GEO: does the web agree you are a real firm - name, address, services, same facts everywhere.
You need all three. Buying “AI SEO” as a sticker does nothing if the H1 is poetry and the contact page has no NAP.
What to put on the page this month Write the questions your sales call already answers:
- How long does a business website take?
- What should a CA firm put on the first screen?
- Do you build client logins or only WordPress?
Answer in two short paragraphs under a question heading. Add FAQ schema only if the FAQ is visible. Fake FAQs get ignored.
How you will know it is working Do not wait for a magic “AEO score.” Ask new leads how they found you. Watch Search Console on question-style queries. Check whether ChatGPT or Perplexity mention you for the one service you actually sell.
We already structure service and industry pages this way - including AEO/GEO notes for business websites. If your site is a brochure with no questions, book a call. Bring three questions you hear every week. That is the outline.
